Cold Change is a family business and was formed by 2 innovative brother engineers based in the UK. With over 50 years combined experience developing and designing cooling equipment and after successfully Winning a Global Leap Award for designing low energy off grid cooling equipment for small hold farmers in Tanzania in 2019 the brothers decided to create their own brand. 

Our name: The name Cold Change was derived from the word Cold Chain plus the unprecedented global need for energy efficient cooling solutions due to rising temperatures caused by climate change.

Doing our bit:  The founders have collaborated on many projects around the world developing solutions for small hold farmers in developing countries with the University of Liverpool, The University of Birmingham, University of Exeter and the Imeche developing our technology range of rapid cooling equipment. 

Importance of the correct cold chain: Designing the correct cold chain for you product is very important. If done correctly this will determine the quality of the product, extend the shelf life and reduce waste. Cold Change offers a full range of equipment for the rapid cooling of food.
