Cold Change Hydro-cooling quickly reduces the core temperature of fresh produce, prolonging shelf life while maintaining taste and appearance.
The system consists of a pool with a flooded stainless steel exchanger over which ice is accumulated and a lifting system that submerges the product in the water allowing faster cooling than with the shower system and allowing the addition of sealants that greatly prevent subsequent weight loss in long shipments of goods.
